Application Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 1st August 2026
1. Artist Application & Submission Terms
By submitting your application at squarebash.com/apply, you agree in full to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree to the terms, then we are unable to enter into any business agreements with you.
1.1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
You (the Artist) retain 100% of the full copyright and intellectual property rights to all artwork, designs, images, and text submitted through this portal. Submitting your work does not transfer ownership to Squarebash Ltd. ("we", "us", "our", "Squarebash").
1.2. Evaluation Licence
By submitting your work, you grant Squarebash a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited licence to view, store, display, and use your submitted materials for the purposes of (a) evaluating your suitability for our commercial products, and (b) showcasing your artwork within our marketing channels, including our website's application-portal carousel and any related promotional materials. Any artwork showcased off-site (e.g. on social media or in online advertisements) will be credited to you and we will never advertise your artwork off-site without your prior permission. This licence does not permit Squarebash to commercially exploit, sell, or distribute your artwork outside of these evaluation and promotional contexts. You may opt out of us showcasing your artwork on-site or in our marketing channels at any time by emailing info@squarebash.com.
1.3. Artist Warranties
By completing this submission, you warrant and represent that:
- You are the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted artwork.
- The artwork is original and does not infringe upon any third-party rights.
- You have full legal authority to grant rights and enter licensing negotiations.
1.4. No Obligation & Selection
Submission of artwork does not guarantee selection, production, or commercial publication. Any formal commercial collaboration will be subject to a separate, mutually signed Artist Licensing Agreement, where we offer 12% of the net sales revenue per individual designed card sold as our standard rate. We reserve the right to amend our royalty rates at any time, with at least 30 days notice to you via email when we intend to do so.
1.5. Right of Removal
You may request the removal of your application and portfolio from our review database at any time by emailing info@squarebash.com.
1.6. Disputes
This agreement and any dispute arising out of it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
2. Content Standards & Prohibition

2.3. Right of Rejection & Removal
Submitting your work to our portal confirms that your portfolio complies with these standards. Squarebash Ltd. reserves the right to decline any submission or remove any artist from our selection process at our sole discretion, without requirement of detailed explanation.
